met ortho doctor yesterday(Ginger knows) and he suggested we wait
a little longer on a knee replacement. My pain problem is meniscus and
arthritis are bumping into each other and they don't like each other. I
have a little life left in my knee joints and good flexibility which should
continue with fake knee joints. Going to try injections(had one already)
some strength exercises, a brace, and maybe survive for the winter. If
the pain continues at level 8-9 I'll punt and get ready for a new knee.
Bottom line- this football season has been a bummer- walking to and
from the stadium has been a chore- the fun part(due to pain) has taken
a toll on the old boy. Next year look out- I'll be back!
